TXST Paving Company is an asphalt contractor based at 3901 E University Ave in Georgetown, Texas. We are licensed and insured, rated 5.0 on Google, and open Monday to Saturday from 8 AM to 5 PM. Our crews pave driveways, parking lots and private roads, repair and resurface worn asphalt, sealcoat and stripe lots, and handle the concrete curb, ramps and site work that go with them. This page is a plain explanation of who we are, how we think about pavement in Central Texas, and what to expect if you call.
A Georgetown crew that answers the phone
We live and work in Williamson County. When you call (737) 403-8619 you reach someone who can talk through your driveway or lot that day, not a call center that sells the lead to whoever is closest. The people who come out to measure are the people who run the job.
Our Google reviews say it better than we can. Customers describe us as responsive, professional and dependable. A shop owner has come back over several years for patching and sealing. A Georgetown realtor sends clients to us for driveway paving. One customer wrote about our crew working through a holiday to finish rather than leaving a torn up lot over a long weekend. That is the standard on every job, from a driveway in Serenada to a retail lot on Williams Drive.
Why we talk about base and drainage before asphalt
Asphalt is only the top few inches. What decides whether it lasts is what is under it and where the water goes, and that matters more in Georgetown than in most places.
East of I-35, from Teravista and the Westinghouse Road corridor out toward Hutto and Taylor, the ground is Blackland Prairie clay. It shrinks in a summer drought, pulls away from pavement edges, then swells after the first heavy fall storm, and pavement on a thin base heaves and cracks with it. West of I-35, around Wolf Ranch and out toward Liberty Hill, the limestone and caliche are stiffer, but flash flooding is the same problem everywhere. Standing water is what kills a base.
So every estimate starts at the ground. We look at how the pavement is failing and where water sits after rain, then size the base, grading and compaction for that ground. Central Texas heat and UV oxidize asphalt fast, which is why we push scheduled asphalt maintenance with crack sealing and sealcoating instead of waiting for potholes.
How we estimate
We do not price asphalt off the phone. Base repair, truck access, drainage fixes and whether the job is an overlay or a full rebuild all change the number, and none of that shows in a satellite photo.
- You call or text and tell us what you have. Photos help.
- We come out, measure, walk the drainage, probe soft spots and check the base where the surface has failed.
- You get a free written estimate, line by line, usually with more than one option. If a driveway needs crack sealing and a sealcoat instead of an overlay, that is what we quote.
- If you go ahead, we set a date, explain cure times and show up when we said we would.
You will not get a repair upsold into a replacement, or a replacement dressed up as a repair.
Residential and commercial, across Williamson County
Homeowners
Most residential calls are driveway paving, overlays and driveway sealcoating, plus long private lanes and ranch drives where the chip seal versus hot mix decision comes down to budget and traffic.
Businesses, HOAs and property managers
Retail centers, churches, schools, office parks, RV and boat storage yards and HOA streets. We phase the work so you stay open, and we finish with parking lot striping, accessible spaces and fire lanes that pass inspection the first time.
Where we work
Georgetown is home, including Sun City, Wolf Ranch, Old Town, Berry Creek and Santa Rita Ranch. We also work regularly in Round Rock, Cedar Park, Leander, Hutto, Pflugerville, Taylor, Liberty Hill, Jarrell, Salado and north Austin. Call or text (737) 403-8619 for a free written estimate, or send the details through our contact page and we will get back to you.
